Patching large holes. This is probably one of the most challenging repair jobs because it requires creating a duplicate of your rug’s original design. We must match the colors, the style, and the knotting as close as possible in order to make a smooth fix. Still, while it is by far the hardest, it is one of our favorites. That’s because it allows us to test and challenge our knowledge of rug design around the world and wow our customers with the results.
Wall-mounting. While this is not exactly a “fix” it is important to note. If you want to hang your ornate area rug, it’s important that you trust in a professional to sew in your wall-mounting loops. When done correctly, the loops are sewn in a way that easily balances the weight of the area rug and is easily removed if you decide in the future that you would like to have it back on your floor.
